The first school of its kind to be built at a military installation, Belle Chasse Academy was in need of a mechanical redesign to fit the budget that was established. PMC chose the latest in direct expansion classroom air conditioning to meet comfort, air quality and operating efficiency mandates. The result is a cool, dry, comfortable environment in which military children can learn and prosper.

This school supports the massive, new military housing development recently completed at the Naval Air Station. This 525-unit housing project is a PMC design/build job and represents the latest in the new initiative undertaken by the United States to meet its military housing needs.
